My best Photoshop work

I am proud of this beautiful creation.

I made this Digital Painting about an year ago. The enormous scope I had to test myself and my art propelled me to undertake this assignment.

It is a Borris concept. I made a rough sketch using a brush, then added rough colors. Then went on finishing part by part adding more colors, more ambitions and fine touches. For this painting I studied a lot of famous faces in the world to bring out the best features. I explored lot of tutorials on the internet mainly to study color combinations and filtering effects.

The eyes of this painting are very dear to me. The eyes are solely designed by me without any other reference.

The painting involves use of a varied textures, filters plug ins. The lips are mainly created using plug ins and filters.

I'll not go more into describing the technicalities. Let us be content with her beautiful eyes.

My first Photoshop work

This was about 4 years ago. I saw this picture somewhere in a magazine. Immediately I wanted to recreate her. What inspired me to do this work was the light effects, specially the hair, the eyes and peculiar teeth.

The complete image has been completed using Photoshop. I had less knowledge of color sense leading me to work mostly using one by one strokes with 2-3 brushes. I mostly worked layer to layer. Now, I can combine colors in the same layer. Now Photoshop has become my life. I have now learnt effective use of filters to bring texturing effects and create brushes as well.

This work also gave me a lot of lessons in Anatomy, as you can see there are lot of mistakes in it.

Anyways, this always remains a special image, first love of my life, maybe ;)
